2010 - four-channel video installation with looping CGI animation, painted laser-cut steel frames, 20″ monitors
Four looping animations depict patterned animal forms and elements referring to symbols of institutional power, such as the Golden Fleece and the bald eagle. Everything is distorted; it is pink and candy like, sleek and surreal. The animations are meditations on power, yet strive for a strange dichotomy, riding a fine line between Lady GaGa and Pixar.
